Hello fellow members, I would like to know if any one has used shorty headers on a C4, If so what brand.:w

I thought seriously about putting "shorties" on my 94, but all the research I've done shows that the stock exhaust manifolds are just as good. If you want a performance increase you need to go with LTs (long tube) headers.

The only thing that shorties might give you is a slight weight reduction and maybe easier access to the spark plugs. Save your money and get the LTs.

"toms94" is correct. On an L98 the advantages of "shorty" headers over stock manifolds is dubious, however, you can spend nearly the same money for a lower restriction exhaust after the cat and gain something.

Now, "long tube" headers can be an advantage, however, the improvement on a stock or near stock engine won't be great.

Where the long tubes will become valuable is after you do other mods such as changing the camshaft, the intake manifold, runners and plenum and porting the heads.

Thanks for the input guys
