Should I replace the rear spring??

My 1986 vette had a squeek in the rear end so I opted to swap out the axle shaft ujoints....not too bad of a job, really.

While I was under the car I noticed that the spring has some frayed places where it looks like it is beginning to separate...

I guess I should change it to (another $300), or should I??? How long do these springs last??

Where is a good place to buy one???

I am also replacing the strut rod bushings, as they are shot. Would anyone recommend the polyurethane over the rubber???

When the glass spring starts to de laminate it time to replace it. There are many places to get these. Ecklers Mid America to name a few.
