Not a vette but it's ours! Best car we ever had! Gives us a lot of enjoyment. Thanks to 67HEAVEN for taking the pics and helping set them up.

A complete turn key car of this caliber from us starts at $90,000 and is nothing short of perfection. We supply everything and build to suit. The yellow 53 was the feature cover on dec. issue of Corvette Fever as well as being in Vette,Vette Vues and Super Chevy magazines. This car is also for sale for $98,000. It has less than 50 miles on it and in perfect condition. If we can help you out in any way please let us know.2000C-5 Black Coupe Owner said:I am assuming that they starting out at $90 Large, right?

And even though it looks like a Corvette, smells like a Corvette, and maybe even drives like a Corvette, IT IS NOT A CORVETTE! Appears to me it is taking the old vintage Vette style and turning them into modern machine, and that is neat for sure; but not for me I'm thinking! But the web site is very interesting and if I run across an extra $100 large I may contact you; it would be awesome to have the best of both worlds, vintage with modern day options. I do appreciate the info. I do have a question these are made from stratch including the frame and etc. and do you have your choice of drive train to include the engine?
Thanks again,
Bill :cool
caccobra said:Have to agree, Bill. It is essentially a street rod with an aftermarket 53-55 Corvette body put on it. Looks like a very nice one though. If you're looking to get the old look with a modern chassis, it would be the best way to go, because you'd be crazy to do that to a real 53-55 Corvette (you'd never get your money back). The old fiberglass is not that great to work with either, compared to the new thinner and stronger composites.
$90,000+ is the going rate for a nice street rod these days, if you don't build it yourself. Personally, for that money, I'd rather drive a Noble, but to each his own, as you say. Never was much of a street rod guy, but that looks like a cool one.

vette rod said:You get your choice of drivetrain as well as the year 53-62 for the c-1 bodys. All of the parts are new including a custom built frame. You get a new car that you will never have to worry about some one else having the same. Yes, the NCRS may not call it a vette under their terms, but it certainly captures the spirit of the first American sports car.
When investing this much money the only way to do this correct is to use all new technology, not starting with 50 year old technology (body) as a base to the investment. With price in mind a new vette, viper, suburban even a hummer to compare, this is a complete one of a kind hand built custom car built to your needs. Thanks for all your interest please let me know if I can help you further.

Even though I may not be interested it has been very informative for sure. $90 Large doesn't sound that out of line in todays market and for what you get. Definently been educational! I am still a die hard Corvette fan, but this concept is really neat!
