billy1,

Congratulations on your new "BABY"! And welcome to :CAC I know you will enjoy it here because it is the best Vette place on the net and the members are the greatest! Is your C-5 an auto or 6-speed?

Stay in touch, but hey guys isn't going to work :ugh there are some gals here too; remember were not alone on this planet, we could say they are just one of the guys but some of them may not like that. :L

Choice looking C-5 and the lake behind it looks pretty good too; where is that?

Bill :w
"MY BABY" asleep in the garage right now, can't wait to get it out!

Nice looking coupe! Like the gray with gray interior. Chrome wheels are a nice touch too. I see your Winn-Dixie has put in a special parking section for cool looking cars. :L

U.P. John,

I would say your priorities are just about right! Good looking Vette for sure hard to keep clean, those dark colors anyway; looks like a lake near by, is it?

Bill :w

Good looking Vette; the picture was either taken at the IMS or an airport which is it. I see your from Indiana and it kind of looks like the tower at the speedway, if it is it is a side I am not accustom to seeing; :confused but it may be an airport somewhere too. Got to know where was this taken?

Hi Bill, yes that's the Pagoda at the speedway. This photo was taken as we were doing laps (going in the F1 direction though). I wish I could say that we were able to open them up but they didn't allow that.

This was a "fan appreciation" day. Local car clubs were invited to come down run a lap and display your cars.

Yes! Lake Independence NW of Marquette, MI and separated from Lake Superior by a mile wide mini-peninsula. Beautiful all year round, but not really Vette-friendly. One highway in and out, pothole city, and sand/mud off the two-lane.
We've had 190" of snow so far, -4 last night, highs in the 20's and 30's next week. Man, I am SOOO sick of winter, expecially when I see that black beauty car-covered in the ice cold garage.

Somebody Hep Me Now!:cry

OK Here she is, now you get to figure out where she is!

That's what I thought RAP, looked like the IMS Tower, great back drop for a picture of your Corvette; I must get mine down there sometime. Keep me posted on anything to do with Corvettes in Indy; wouldn't mind bopping down for something like that. Do you live in Indy? Are you going to make it down to the Cruise Fest in Bowling Green this year?
Later, don't forget the wave :w

Bill :)

Pretty choice ride Grumpy, congratulations! Does your C-5 has C-6 wheels on it, looks like it anyway? Looks like you got caught in the rain.

Speaking of rain, where has the famous RAIN of Rhythm & Rain been? Haven't heard from him in a while.

Are we going to get a concert at the Cruise Fest this year in Bowling Green? :_rock Sure would be :cool

Later Gator,
Bill :w
