When I was recently at Corvettes at Carlisle, I was in the market for caps to cover the torx screws around the rear hatch of my 98 coupe. The only thing being offered were chrome and I was not interested... I wanted black for a more subtle look.
When I got home, I reserached and have put together sets of what I call "Show Caps" for both C5 and C6 Corvettes. I offer both the Show Caps and replacement stainless steel screws to get rid of the discolored and/or rusting stock torx screws.
Each kit contains enough covers and stainless screws to replace and cover the trim screws around the rear trunk/hatch area, along the top of each front fender, each door jamb and the gas access area.
They look slick.
Check out the "Show Caps" link on my website (www.theclearoption.com).
