On my 76 there are pin stripes that esssentially start right at the leading edge of the front fender and go along the "curve" and end a little bit in front of the leading edge of the door. The stripe picks up again right by the door handle and goes along the rear body "curve" back to the start of the rear bumper. The stripe is a thin double black stripe against the dark body. It also has pin stripes that outline the curve of the bulge in the center of the hood.

When I first got it I thought it may have been part of the tackiness of the 70's but I really like it now. I think it really breaks up your eye when your looking at the car and even exagerates the curves.

Does anyone else have this same accent and would you have a picture?

My 78SA has pin stripes.
Originally, my stripes were of the taped variety ... and about 4 years ago we had the 78 repainted and the shop did all of the Silver Anniversary graphics by masking and painting. No tape! Clear coat over all so everything is smoothly layered with no edges to catch on. My stripe points are also very sharp.

I'll include my sig pic, but I don't think it will show the stripes very well. I think the stripes on our vettes are probably so close they could be called the same.

I can email you pics if you'd send me a PM with your email address.
