Catbert - I traded her in at Hendrick Chevrolet in Cary NC. She had 1220 miles on her. Talk to my salesman - Lamont Greene. :w

They also have a brand new one that is just like the one I had - Carlisle Blue, Dark Blue top and full Titanium Grey seats. Let me know how it works out.
If you come to Cary, let me know and we can have a cup of coffee.

Cool, we got my wife's Equinox at Hendrick in Cary - wait, she driving the Volt, so I guess the Nox is mine now. :ugh I looked at their new one on the internet, but they are high on their asking price compared to other, including other Hendrick shops. Are they dealing at all?

Looks good!

New grill for the ZR1.
I've seen that grill on other C6's and I really like it. IMO it dresses up the front, makes it seem more "finished". :thumb

Thanks for posting the enlargement, Jane Ann. :w
Some may not know that there are two different grills for the C-6, but they look the same. One size fits the Base Corvette, the other fits the GS, Z06 and the ZR1.
I still had to "fabricate" the ends a little so there was absolutely no chance of rubbing on the paint.
Yes, I took off the splitter so I could get up my driveway.

Tropical Storm Beryl hit the Raleigh Durham area with quite a bit of rain today. Chapel Hill is just west and we only got a few drops - gone by this afternoon. :w

Geiger zr1

I LIKE WHAT GEIGER DID WITH THE ZR1

FROM > Geiger GTS Corvette ZR1 Makes 710 hp, 677 lb-ft

Making the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 faster seems about as necessary as strapping fireworks to the space shuttle, but that hasn’t stopped the crazy Germans of Geiger Cars. They’ve reportedly bumped up the ZR1’s output by 72 hp and 73 lb-ft of torque for totals of 710 hp and 677 lb-ft at the crankshaft.

Geiger’s not disclosing how they coaxed the extra power from the Corvette’s LS9, but our bet is extra supercharger boost and a louder, more free-flowing exhaust. They say the modded car can run to 62 mph in 3.6 seconds, although we managed 60 mph in 3.4 seconds with a stock ZR1, so the Geiger car might need better tires . . . or a better driver. Top speed is a claimed 212 mph, up 7 mph from the stock ZR1’s limit.

Wide, sticky tires wrapped around lightweight OZ Racing wheels keep things attached to the road; they measure 19 inches in diameter in front and 20 inches rear. Geiger also opted for a new body kit, which serves up a Ferrari-esque rear end complete with circular LED taillights. The front end also gets a revised look with two vertical bumper slats and a carbon-fiber splitter. There are also new side skirts and a rear diffuser. Check out our gallery for an up-close look at the Geiger ZR1.

I like the rims a lot also, but they sure have a bunch of nooks and cranies to have to clean. :w

Bryan, nice photos of the Geiger.
The rear end with the spoiler built in looks much better.

Our ZR1 out for dinner with some fellow Corvette friends yesterday. :w
