I like the rims a lot also, but they sure have a bunch of nooks and cranies to have to clean. :w

Which is the best reason in the world why I shouldn't put them on my C5; no matter how good they look. :L

We did have lots of different years represented, but it seems the sandwich of choice that day was Reuben, with or without thousand island dressing. :w

I have been thinking about changing the "Iron Duke" Blue #1 to the red #1, but not sure how to do it yet.

As you can see in the attached photos, several items have been changed to torch red. :w

Today at a car show, I ask a Dad if his 6 year old son would like to sit in the ZR1. He said OK, the boy sits in the car and the Dad turns to me and says - - - "Is this your car."
I said I wouldn't have asked if it wasn't. :w

When I purchased the ZR1, I noticed some small scratches in the Carbon Fiber Halo behind the fixed roof.
The service manager order the new part and the car is in the shop getting it replaced. It took seven weeks
for it to arrive becase they don't keep them in stock anywhere so it had to be manufactured.
To take the halo off you have to remove the rear window in order to get to some of the fasteners.

Additionally, also when I purchased the ZR1, the passenger headlight seal was pushed in and torn.
They will replace both headlight assemblies. In order to do that, they need to remove the front bumper.
The headlights and labor to remove and replace the bumper is about $3,000.00. Plus labor and part for the Halo. It will take two days but the costs are all under warranty. :w

Next week the ZR1 is scheduled to get a 3M full clear bra from the front splitter to the doors/hood/front fenders. Also the carbon fiber side molding and from the rear of the door to the wheel well up to the bottom of the gas tank door.

Lastly I will get the sides and rear window tinted. I hope to post photos of the completed work.

Maybe if the 8 were ZR-1's in the middle!

Then it would be an "ALL Z PARADE" :thumb

It could even have some Z06's in it as well for good measure and still be an "ALL Z PARADE" :beer

ZR-1's & ZR1's Look Great Together

Your Z and mine would look just like these two but just change the colors

With a little coordination I think I could get 6 ZR1's together - but 10 at one time would be quite a sight. :w

I got the ZR1 back from the dealer this evening.

Both headlights and the Carbon Fiber Halo were replaced.

Perfect job.

Front end clear sheild installed. Windows tinted. :w
