skip shift solenid

I can not find the skip shift solenoid......are all automatics 6 speeds????? my trans looks nothing like the one in pictorial for CAGS?? any ideas??? Thanks for help

Skip shift only applicable on manual transmissions... Automatics need not apply!

That was my understanding too...but light on dash keeps popping on ......must be another wonderful electrical issue.. think this car had a manual in it at one time.....hmmmmm thanks...:ugh

If it's a C5, and it has a C5 automatic, it will be a 4 speed. All of the C5 manual transmissions were 6 speeds.

Thanks Tuna I never knew about that RPO code sticker....not really up on all corvette tech...thanks for reply... I'll get it one day......p.s. it showed M30......... 4 speed auto thx
