Welcome to the Corvette Forums at the Corvette Action Center!

So...how many of us take our Vetts out if it is raining?

I have the luxury of not having to take out the vette unless i want to, which rarely includes anything but the nice days. its a convetible and i've only driven it once with the top up. that was because of extreme heat that day.

I hear that, our poor Maltise almost had a freaken heat stroke one really hot summer day! Now if she is with us and its really hot I need to keep the top up and the AC on. But she is worth it!

Was that ever muddy!

I'd rather not but once I got caught coming home from a Niner game on US 101 by some farm fields.

It absolutely covered the car in heavy dirt along with the underside. It was so clean before then.

As I was washing it, I had to continually clean the washing mit -- all the dirt coming back as mud!

LOL took the vette to dealer this morning...40 degrees sunny..as they pulled it out to give it back to me it started to rain like it was the end of the world ...then snow! then the sun came out ! Go figure !
