Bob, I think I'm gon'na cut and paste this duct tape photo, and e-mail it tomorrow to " Red Green ". Wouldn't be surprised to see it on his show. :L

I haven't seen that shows in years! They used to play it here at nights and haven't done that in a few years now. The Red Green Shows was great.

Ok, lets say the man prayer now..................

;LOL ;LOL ;LOL

I'm a man,
But I can change,
if I have to,
I guess.

" Quando Omni Flunkus Moritati " or stated otherwise " When all else fails, play dead " :L

i really do miss watching that show - especially his "projects" of which 90% of the materials needed were, of course, duct tape! ;LOL

hmmm, duct tape, hot glue, and wire ties - you can fix or build anything :D

Hey ! an original autograph

Bob,

If that is an original autographed photo you have there, I'll bet you could swap it out for at least 2 or 3 rolls of duct tape. Hell,,, maby it's even E-bag material;LOL

I'm heading over to the body shop to "supervise" the base and clear. It's going on in minutes. I'll be bolting the bumpers, taillights, etc. on later today. :beer

The countdown to Carlisle is well under way........

Bob,

67Heaven is looking great. :) You ARE a stickler for details. ;)

Just do not supervise those guys TOO hard. They look like they are really working diligently on your Vette! :upthumbs

Save The Wave! :w

Right on schedule, the car is painted.

We didn't want to paint just some of the back end of the car, so we sprayed the lower valance as well.

Due to extreme weather, we decided to close up early and head home. The safest place for the car right now is inside the paint booth.

We're under severe weather warnings in and around Toronto, tornado warnings, hail, heavy rain and high winds.

Satellite TV is out and all hell is beginning to break loose. Someone throw me a life jacket. :D

I'm heading over to the shop in the morning to reinstall the lights, bumpers, etc.

:w

Bob

that great news :)
the car looks great and your shop is very fast.
It's great that they were willing to work with you to get her done in time for next week.

Can't wait to see her and you in person.

Carlisle, here we come............ :beer

;LOL Yeah...not like your shop...that would have taken a month to do....:L

To make sure it got painted today, I helped the "prep" guy strip the paper and tape off a couple of other vehicles, washed them to ready them for customer pickup, moved some cars around the yard and fed the guys coffee.

That guaranteed that the prep guy could do the final wet-sand and taping of Heaven so the boss could step up to spray it.

Whatever it takes. ;)

P.S. From experience, they know I'm not leaving until it's painted.........that helps too. ;LOL

I'm very pleased with the results. The installed measurements are exactly what I hoped for.

A little cleanup, inside and out, and we'll start packing for Carlisle on Tuesday.
