Hi,
The speedometer on my 69 project is not working, turns out that the speedometer driving gear is loose on the axle, i.e the gear had moved an inch to the "front" so there was no connection to the driven gear.
How is the gear normally fixed on the axle?
I have the gearbox (4-speed) on my workbench now, but I have never opened one of these before. How big task is this, to split the gearbox and get access to the gear and fix the problem?
