So one day I got bored and decided to paint the lower fascia, the look on the neighbors faces were priceless when they saw me with a can of Krylon in my hands

I like it. I've thought of doing the same to my '98 but never get around to it. Maybe it's because I'm not quite committed to the look. I definitely wouldn't do more than what you have. Personally, I prefer that "subtle" look you achieved.
