Squishy shocks

My shocks (I think) are making a "squishy" noise when I go over bumps. Is this a sign they need to be replaced?

Welcome to the CAC. It is the site that I call home because of the people who are here and the generally friendly, helpful tone throughout.

I am sure that people with more knowledge than I have will respond. But I think that there are several reasons that a "squishy" sound could be made. Bushings?
