88 coupe, will start when cold no problem, but when it get hot, will shut off, and then will not start again until it cools down. Have already changed the pick up coil. Temperature reading on dash of car 228.

So it shuts itself off when it gets really hot?
or are youre just having a startup problem after it gets hot?

Just take a timing light and hook it to any spark plug wire. Now start the hot car that won't run, and see if the timing light flickers when it's cranking over? If it does, then you can eliminate the ignition system. Start chasing for a fuel flow problem. The pick up coil might not be the problem, but still could be another ignition part if you see no spark when the engine is hot.

I would check the fuel pump as well, could be it's on the way out when it gets hot

Have checked the fuel pressure at fuel rail, good. Have changed the computer out, made no difference. Car still would not start after it reached temperature and then you shut it off.

Will run fine as long as you do not shut it off, as long as you start it when it is cold.

Any advice?

Something is swelling caused by heat is my guess? It could be a fuel hose close to a heated area? Kind of off the wall because it does run while hot as you say? But something in the fuel system seems to be expanding something to choke off the fuel flow?
The other thought is to remove the gas cap when the engine acts up not starting, and see if it's something as simple as that will start the car right up?
You never mentioned if you lost spark when restarting hot with a timing light? But then again, if it's running while hot, it doesn't make sense it would be ignition? I'd still like that issue resolved that you do, or do not have spark with a hot engine start.
What is the water temperature when the engine is cycled hot at a no-start condition?

If you have low water, or if the sensor is bad, the computer won't allow the fuel pump to work. Same thing with low oil pressure.

If the tach filter is bad, the computer won't let the fuel pump work because it doesn't know the engine is cranking. The tach filter might fail because of heat in the engine compartment.

At least these are some problems I experienced with and 84.
