Steering Column Lock Up Recall

Has anyone heard anything else about the problem with the steering column lock up recall? This topic seems to have disappeared and I am wondering how I can find out if this is an actual recall or not. I have a 2003 6 speed Anniversary and will probably opt for that kit mod rather than have a dealer mess with my car.
Any info would be appreciate! Thanks....

VetNut, the best advice I got on this was to go to the GM Owner's Link website and create a profile for yourself and your vehicle. They can inform you, based on your VIN, of any recalls currently affecting your Corvette.

Just found out on the 50th Anniversary Forum that the recall has started for automatic transmission models.
