Until this year, I used my corvette as a daily driver. With the mileage building, I bought a Honda Accord to take the daily abuse and saved the Vette for fun. So this is the first winter in the gagage. I take the Vette out on nice days but they have not been frequent enough this winter to keep the battery charged and I found it dead but chargeable on several occasions. What product do you use to maintain the charge without making the electric company rich? Is there anything else you do to protect the car through the winter?

A trickle charger is a good bet to keep your 'Vettes battery charged.

I use the Battery Tender Jr. I keep it plugged in all winter. Works very well and doesn't run up the electric bill much at all.

If you do some checking around, you can find it for less than $39.95. A while back, I got mine on Amazon for around $30, delivered.

If you get it out every 6 weeks or so ,all ya need is a battery tender. Just make sure that when you do take it out you bring your oil temp up to normal range for your car.
You'll be just fine and your car will still love ya .:D
