how do i remove the sun visors???
have to make some inside repair, hanging like"dogears"

Hey easy on the "DOGEARS" lol

Remove top ( either style )
Remove plastic trim at top of windsheild.
In the corners you will find the 2 8mm nuts that hold the sunvisor arms up. Unless the springs are broken.. you should be able to tighten em up a bit and be done with it.

If yours is like mine, don't worry about spring pressure if you have to remove the push-on type of nut and take the visors off the car. ;)

When I did my interior last year, I replaced my visors. When I got to the fastener holding the retainer/spring, I was concerned that there would be a significant amount of pressure under there, and that the whole mess would go flying if I removed the fastener without securing the assembly somehow. The concern proved to be unfounded - there wasn't much spring pressure at all.

The replacement visors I installed have a threaded shaft for a real nut.

Snippy

Hey Drew, I've been meaning to ask you for awhile now- is your dog part rabbi? :L

Perhaps in Sweden...

JJ, is that a mis-spelling? Or are you actually asking if his dog is Jewish? :L

I won the spelling bee

I'm referring back to a post he wrote as to why his dog was better (or not) than a Corvette. ;)

She isn't better than a Corvette. Maybe better than a...root canal.:gap
I don't think she is part rabbi, but then I never really asked her either. I really don't understand, but I still like bantering with you JJ.:D

Come on DREW!

and I quote from Top 10 Reasons to Buy a Vette

"she knows what she wants to do every night -go for a ride, bark at things...and snip you."

Geesh - do I have to explain the rest of the joke?

:confused

I enjoy all the colloquies (check my spelling, Ken) as well!
