Sunset Orange Metallic?

hate to admit it but I like the color but could not order it. Here is Texass it is the color of UT and I grew up an Oklahoma fan.

DSOM is my favorite of the C6 colors. I've seen several around Bowling Green and at the plant. Maybe some day I'll have the bucks to put one in my garage. Limited production and less common colors really appeal to me, so it really wouldn't hurt my feelings any if GM did put DSOM back in the box for awhile.

Have the DSOM . Traded in a millenium yellow. The yellow always looked clean. The dsom shows the dirt/dust/pollen that you never see on the MY. I still think the dsom is the "richest" looking color, but I may go back to the ML when and if I get another one. (It really does change colors in different lighting conditions...cool.)

Great pix !! I also have a DSOM. Your wheels look pretty shiny..are they the polished or after markt chrome ? My polished look pretty dull compared to yours.

I ordered a DSOM coupe in Feb. 05 and am still waiting delivery. I have seen two close up one outside on a sunny day and one inside at an auto show. In both situations they were beautiful. Always remember it is your likes that count otherwise they would only make two colors.

It's a great color. I had to think long and hard before I got Lemans Blue:confused, and sometimes I wish I would have gone for the DSOM. You will love the car!

I took my sister to the plant for a tour on Friday while she was visiting for my daughter's HS graduation.

At the end of the line, there was a DSOM Z06.

Holy crap, that's a cool looking car.

I saw it, I test drove it, I ordered it, I bought it, I drive it every day. I get all kinds of gawkers now lol.

All C6's are beautiful, but this is an outstanding color. The 06 Z06 offers DSOM too, for those sillies that think it's discontinued.

Oh, and the XM antenna is really no big deal. It's really not that big, but I'd have designed it differently if I were King. Still not worth giving up the XM capability just to avoid it.

I really like the color as well. My neighbor who used to have a silver C5, upgraded to a DSOM coupe, and it is stunning. I was very suprised walking through the musuem down in BG when I seen the one and only Torch Red C6. Talk about a beautiful looking car.

Have a DSOM and love it. Does show dust,dirt,etc.,a lot more than my Millenium Yellow did.

Maybe I'll change my handle to "THE GREAT PUMPKIN" I still like the color after almost 4 months. I like it so much I painted my 57 Bel Air with the 87 Vette suspension the same color.

Hi, Where did you get the paint ? I've been looking for anything close to it , so I can get a front plate bracket and then paint it to match the car. Retail for a matching bracket is about $75.00 with shipping.

i've had 9 vettes the c6 coupe was # 8,the c6 vert is #9 it's dsom. and just before the c6's i had a prowler( woodward edition) and a black viper the dsom vert is without a doubt the best looking car of them all where i go with it everybody comes up and says love the color what is it? in strong sunlight the car is unmistakenly orange but the less sun on it the redder it gets. you couldn't go wrong with dsom

i don't speak cartoon and apparently bobby1 is illiterate as well as possibly color blind i take it he doesn't approve of dsom.well i traded in a precision red coupe for a dsom vert. and i happen to think the dsom is a spectacular color as do the numerous people who have come up and said nice car and what is that amazing color

If I was going to get a C6, it would definatly be DSOM. Love that color! The hard choice would be the interior color, I like both the Ebony and Cashmere.
