When the computer commands the EGR to operate ,the hot exhaust gases flow pass the switch
to the EGR valve and it tells the computer that the EGR is working correctly.
If the switch or wiring to it is faulty, the computer will put up a code 32 to show a EGR fault even though the EGR system may be operating correctly because if the switch doesn't operate when it should ,
the computer has no way of knowing if it is because the switch is faulty or no exhaust flow to the EGR valve
