Tall Valve Cover on a 78

Does anyone know what you have to do to put tall valve covers ona 78'.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

It's been a while since I put mine on but I seem to recall that I had some clearance problem with the cruise control mount at the edge of the valve cover flange and the A/C bracket has to be extended with a bend in it.

Without the Cruz & AC it should fit fine. The only other thing in the way is the hard vacuum line...

I installed Talls on my 79. Just a couple of minor mods were needed the major one (which wasn't bad) was reshaping the rear AC compressor mounting bracket.

Thanks everyone. It looks like the A/C is going to be the biggest hurdle.I had one guy tell me that I will have trouble with the Alternator. Did anyone else have trouble with the Alternator?
