Targa Blue '72 412 carpet color

Hello.

I am replacing the complete interior in my '72 Targa blue hardtop. I ordered some carpet but when it came in the color is a bright blue. My existing interior is dark blue. Has it faded that much over time or may the bright blue carpet be the incorrect color? The color code is 412.
