Pete, Could you please list all the parts needed for the conversion from the "external" thermostat to a thermostat housed in the water neck.
Also, how much did that help drop your temp's?
Thanks for the reply for myself and anyone else thinking about this change:)
ps, any "tricks" or tips you discovered along the way?
Thanks *89x2* Chris

external conversion

Chris I changed the thermostat to a 180 degree put a bleed hole in it. Then took out the old hoses and replaced with the stock ones this is requested on the callaway website. I also changed the fan switch to go on at 195 degree rather than 215degrees Thats what makes the real diffference. The highest my car has gotten since the change is 225 degrees and that was in stand still traffic. Before the car would go to over 245 degrees with out the AC. I will get you the part numbers on Monday if you want. Keep in mind you have two fans .Talk to you soon Pete

yes I am also very interested in this procedure as well. Im not to fond of my cars running much over 200F. So if I get the car...big radiator here I come, that'll be the only way to beat the FL heat.

Chris I could not find the part numbers but you need a fan switch that turns on at 195 degrees. and just drill a small hole in the thermostat
