I thought there were 4 anniv cars produced :confused

I know of this car, the Be-Cool car, and my friend from Arkansas who has one stored in a warehouse with 1300miles. Its a 4+3. Then I had heard there was one totalled.

Surf - actually, there ARE four :) Four of the 4+3's and three of the Automatics.

This car was the "Be Cool" radiator car (Auto)
there was one for sale in California (w/ silver Dy's) (4+3)
One in NC (4+3)
One in Ill. In a major collection w/ two hundred mi. on it :eek
Your friends car w/ 1300 mi (4+3)
the one that was totalled :(
+ one other one - that may have been up for sale as well, last yr.

These will be VERY valuable Callaways as in addition to being B2K's they also have the extremely tasteful 88 Anniv. pkg :)

Hope this helps :m

The one that was totalled was put back together i was told.It was at Carlisle last year for sale. I forgot how much though. It may have been in the mid 20's. This one is a stunning vette.Wish I had a couple of extra $$$$$

This is the one that was at Carlisle last year (For sale @ $ 39,900 at the show) I wonder if two had been (very) damaged then?? The one, I heard was totalled was beyond repair :(
Did the guys selling, mention anything else??

One member here offered 18k for it, as it sat - I thought the owner(s) were going to fall out of the chairs - It was a serious offer though based upon the car after inspection.

Here is an earlier thread on this car... http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27975

I didnt speak to anyone about it but a friend told me that the one at Carlisle was there again and needs a ton of front end work, chassis suspension etc.

The car was indeed damaged at some point - but not sure to what extent ;shrug - The other fella w/ me thought the nose may have been tapped and the drivers door took 2 trys to shut snugly.

Still, a nice car that needs TLC ;help

When he offered 18k, I think he figured there was work to be done however, the car was complete (w/ the Dymags & other Callaway specific items) and would have been a great deal for him at that price
