The Lingenfelter Chronicles...Starts Now

Is the judging your referring to have something to do with t-shirts :confused

Remo and Guy know all about Jugging contests. It can be in the form of something with t-shirts (wet or dry):naughty: , something to do with a Brown jug:) , or both:upthumbs. I noticed in one of their pics that they are parked near a State Police station:eek.

Quicksilver @ Lingenfelter

Hey gang,

It's 12:30 PM and we just got back from the Lingenfelter shop. Got the car checked in and they gave us the tour of the operation - no pictures allowed. But a cool place. They were working on some of the most exotic Corvette set ups you can imagine. Incidently, they already had the heads and valves done for mine - just waiting for the car so they could pull the motor and start the rest of the work. That will include a hotter cam and the porting and polishing of the intake system. Also saw the custom coil covers I ordered - they look terrific (polished black with chrome Lingenfelter script). While ther they will also lower it an inch. They said the car will be ready the 5th of April - no problem.

When I get the car back to my home town I'll have a local artist hand paint the Lingenfelter Performance Engineering logo on the body. We'll do in a "tin plate" script on the front fenders just above the side air vents. Probably do it in a dark gray with burgundy or black acsents.

Sounds awesome; the logo LPE will be a great touch.

See you guys @ 5;30PM at Smokey Bones.

Smokey Bones is where we had lunch after our 1/2 day at the Dyno during Cruise-fest 1 It will be a tight squeeze for us but I have not talked to my Wife yet today so I am still planning on us coming. Yesterdays dinner was a real treat; we enjoyed Remo and Guy's company and the weather was nice for a ride.

Went to Toledo sat night to see BB King, Ft wayne Sunday and today, I'll have to gas up twice this week. ;LOLwhich reminds me I have to put some Techron in my tank the gas gage did its thing last night ;)

Guy

I really enjoyed supper tonight with the group; look forward to seeing you all again. Bossvette's Vette sounded good tonight, had to get home and fire mine up just to hear it, music to my ears!:W

Have a safe flight back, now none of us can wait until you get your car back Remo, going to be awesome driving it for the first time and I'm sure it will get better each time after that :lou Drive it like a rental. break-in oil went out in the sixties but don't take my word for it; ask the experts at LPE there in that Decatur town. I've allways been told they run like you break them it. break them in slow and they will be! :Twist

I got home just afer 9 took a little nap before work, now its time to give the Dogs their bones and go back out the door. Have a good safe trip back East Remo and Guy See ya at BG. :upthumbs

Nothing Like It

Nothing beats a road trip, especially one that has a theme like this one, to modify Remo's ride. It's even better when you can make stops on a road trip and hook up with friends you don't get the chance to see normally. On a side note, 6 Shooter, you old horn dog, get a room.;)

I really enjoyed our dinner and visit tonight also. We had some good conversation and and a good meal. What more could you ask for.

Guy: Hope those cupholders were up to the road trip.
Remo: Its going to be a treat to hear first hand about LPE's handiwork. Have a safe flight home!

Yes, it was a very good evening!

I'm pretty sure Remo is anticipating the return trip home in his Corvette after the Lingenfelter Performance mod. :lou

Remo & Guy - May your flights be safe and uneventful.

Later . . . . . .

Have a safe trip home, enjoyed your company!!:upthumbs
Now I'm gonna sleep for a long time.;)

I'm curious about this package Remo.

It says it includes a Corsa performance exhaust system though you already have a set of Stingers on there. Do they adjust the price if the exhaust isn't to be included? Or is there going to be a nice set of Stingers on ebay? This is something I may think about doing some time in the future.

Leon

Yeah, Remo, what are you planning on doing with those Stingers?

I believe you have started out the First Day of Spring on a very good note.
