Hey, I thought that was funny........ ;LOL ;LOL

You're not the only one!;LOL . So I guess we have to figure out who is Larry or Moe, we all know who Curly is!;)

Doug, I'll let you guys work that one out.......... I've already said more than I should have with that comment and i'll be lucky not to have you guys gunning for me, especially Mac since he carries a gun for a living............ :D

Barry very artistic photos .they show the car real nice. Your headlamp bucket lines are PERFECT. You did real good with your body man, his craftmen ship on your car is outstanding.

I had some tuning tools packed for carlise as I thought I was going to have to assist you with your car.

GREAT JOB

Hi Larry

thanks for the compliments on Baby, coming from you and the work you do it means a lot to me! There are one or two little very minor things that I found are not perfect on the body but I doubt anyone other than me will ever see them - you know we all judge our own cars the hardest. I think my guy did a very good job overall and i'm pretty pleased.

Well, I'M bringing some tools Larry because as far as tuning goes she still isn't where I think she should be at. If you want to jump in and help I'll always welcome it and would take the opportunity to learn from someone who knows what they are doing. :beer

Put a plate on the front or remove the bracket. Looks great. :cool

that's a good idea, thanks. We don't use front tags here in De. so I think she would look much better if I take it off. i'll see if I have time to do that between getting the car back next week and leaving for Carlisle.

Looks GREAT, Barry. I'd love to see it in person one of these days. Chuck

Chuck, we will be at Carlisle next week - stop by and find us in the '63-'67 registry area :beer

Hi Bud...

When your setup at Carlisle, give me a ring on my cell phone...Also, I know friday u have an appt. with Al Knoch for your seats. Alex and i will gladly help carry those bad boys over for ya. Nice PICS with the barn in the backdrop...

Have u thought about a front piece (license plate) for her??

She's looking good....

Andy

Studiog, Thanks for the kind words. Baby is no slouch but I'm not OVERESTIMATING what league she is in either - I'm very realisticabout her condition. body-off notwithstanding, she still has a lot of things I feel need to eventually get redone on her yet.

Paul, stop by. Linda and I will have a nice tent up by the car with a cooloer or two and extra chairs for visitor :) (this invite is for everyone :) )

Bob, very good point!. I meant to say 67Heaven........... besides, the way I've lived my life so far, I douby heaven is where I'm going to end up anyway. I think my destination is a bit more South. :ugh

Steve, Baby is a '65. She needed some more buffing also which is why she is back in the shop until tues. Getting a few areas wetsanding again and the whole car buffed out again. He missed a few areas before because he was afraid of burning thru them on the edges with the fresh paint but now that it's cured for a few weeks is why he's redoing it again. When I picked her up we had already arranged this.
You're not coming to Carlisle?

Hi Andy

Next week is coming fast! :)

instead of a front plate I think I'd rather have the cleaner look of the car with the plate holder taken off - ImaVettehead had a good idea there that I didn't think of

Barry,

See if you have time???????

It's two (2) (deux) (twice-one) bolts holding that bracket on under the chrome cross-piece. I think the wrench size is 7/16".

Get 'er done. ;)

Barry since you have timed your car properly we now know you have the skills to work on it,No more excuses no better time then now Get your butt in the garage and get it done.

Larry, I may have set timing, but the question remains......... did I set it CORRECTLY?? :D
Yes, I'm actually packing my new timing light and vacuum gauge to bring with me in case anyone is willing to check my work and help me make any corrections........

I'll get out in the garage and remove the front license plate holder as soon as I get the car back which should be Tuesday afternoon. :)
