The state went and "repossessed" my plate

FN = F'in = "fricken" *wink wink*

Really! I tried my damnedest to convince them that it meant "flippin" or "freakin", but they wouldn't have any part of that.

Oh well, I still bring it along with me to car shows. It's really surprising how many people have no clue what it means. Maybe that's why it took those dummies at the statehouse so long to finally figure it out.

It's probably a good thing the city of "Effingham" is in Illinois, not Iowa. Imagine living in city whose name is considered "too obscene" by the DMV and PETA.
:ugh

What wheels do ya have on her?

They are C6 Z06 replicas from Corvettes of Houston, in standard C5 sizes. They can be gotten in bigger sizes...wish I had now, but I'll manage with what I've got, heh, heh, heh

What happened to your '94(?) that you had at CruiseFest 1? That was a pretty nice ride you had!

Ahhh, yes, the '96 Arctic white coupe. Yeah, I really liked that ride. Was heartbroken to let her go too. But that's the deal I had to make with the "boss" aka wifey, in order to get a brand new C5.

"Bosses" are like that sometimes, ya know?

Ya want to get rid of em, what size are they?

I couldn't replace them now with what I initially paid for them. My recent performance mods on top of everything else I've been doing to her lately is taking a really big bite out of my "mad money" budget.

I appreciate the interest and offer, but it just ain't economically feasible for me to attempt anything like that now.:)

Is Effingham Kosher?:confused
Should my foreskin challenged brothers and I get bent out of shape about the infidels of Illinois insulting our tradition?:eyerole
If we allow this Effing insult to pass that will open up the gate to cartoons of Abraham needing Viagra and King David doing the dirty with Bathsheba…. Oh where will it end?:W:W:W

I could rant on but I need to eat my bacon sandwich with a nice glass of fresh milk and pop off to the market to pick up some shellfish for lunch.;LOL;LOL:rotfl

CA would not renew my SWLOMBB plate :mad

I don't know if I can really say that here, can I? Let it suffice that EFFEN Kewl is close enough.

I know one thing though....the Harley guys never had any trouble with it. I had one guy stop at a rest stop and offer me a hundred bucks for it....the FRONT one, no less. I respectfully declined.

I WOULD like to know what that "swallow my big, (something)" means on that other fellows plates. Anybody figured that one out yet?

I bought my 62 Bel-Air from a guy in Ohio. When it arrived, I was required to present it to my local DMV for vin# verification. I thought it would be nice to have a personalized plate, so started thinking of good combos. Settled on 62BA409, meaning 1962 Bel-Air 409. DMV web site said that was still available. Presented all my paper work to the clerk, she punched it in to the computer, came back "not appropriate". I explained the meaning, and was told that the letter combination "BA" has a bad conotation. Told her it meant Bel-Air, she says "well you know what else it means". My only guess is "bare ass"? Any way,, settled for 62BT409, stands for 1962 Bubbletop 409. Here in liberal Kalifornia, its OK for a guy to do his boyfriend on a bus bench, but don't dare think about having a subliminal message in you license plate. Ya, go figure.

Believe it or Not!

How about "I M 1 4 6 9"
Believe it or not this was a standard (not personalised) plate issued on a car I owned.
If you had applied for this as a P.Plate, there would be no way it would fly.
But as a random number throught the DMV?

I just got "RAC3R" for the L81 (now just need to build the car to suit the plate), and see purplerac3r has the same plate there, also the same profession, thats a little scary!
