I like the paint scheme also but change the yellow to black.

You know this car makes Vigman's midyear look great! I agree this rates a five puker>

You guys are hilarious! ;LOL For me, I like the paint scheme - I really think the overall perception would be different of the paint if all that gaudiness wasn't on it. You have to hand it to him though, modification is not an easy task; and since you are stepping out on a limb, you never know what your gonna get.

I can't stand the backend though.....:puke Corvettes are wide enough; don't need to make em wider. I actually like the interior but if I were to use wood I would have went with the richier, glossier stuff; not the "paneling" look like those old mobile home trailers have. yikes :(

I think mods are ok on some vehicles and a bad idea on others. To each his own I guess! Oh, don't like the wheels much either.

Where is the Fender Skirts and the Cont. Tire on the Back ??????? ;LOL A must for sure.......I will email him................:eek :duh ;LOL ;LOL ;LOL

How do you reckon that vette was built?

Looks like someone had a load of C3, C4, C5 bits and they built some kind of tribute car. The ironic thing is that it looks like it took a LOT of work to build.

Actually imho it's nothing like as bad as a couple of Kustom Vettes from the seventies with mega-flared arches (anyone seen the film "the hot one"?) with a nice bit of metalflake paint and 10 inch wide turbovecs.

Seriously though loads of people in my country wish thay had a car as cool as a vette so they put about 8 bodykits on their compact/hatch/saloon/family car. A vette doesn't need anything to look cool. It IS cool.

Just my 2c worth.

When I first saw the photes my first thoughts were that someone had turned our beloved Corvette into a rice burner. To say the least this one is not for me. Then I also had to remember that we all put our personal touch to our vettes. Weather it is just the right paint or putting an emblem on the back bumper. The moral of the story is that you can't please everyone so you might as well please yourself. It looks like this guy did exactly that.

Remember Johnny Cash's song - I built it "One Piece At A Time"... It was about a '49-'50-'51-'52 Cadillac a guy builds from parts stolen while working at a Cadillac assembly plant. :L

:eek :eek :eek

This is what my face looked like after seeing that C5.
WOW... and my jaw dropped.

I would drive the C5 because of its WOW factor.
Now if you asked me to do that to my own C5... thats another story.
