I never thought it would happen to me but I am now saddled with being the idiot who forgot to lock down his targa top and drove off. As expected as I was driving out of my neighborhood my top departed the vehicle. Top hit the ground bottom down thankfully at about 30 MPH. Slid for a few feet and came to a stop. All four sides are damaged at the corners. There is a crack in the middle of the frame that is barely noticeable but definitely there.

Fixable or should I just purchase a new top? I've found used tops for $600-$800 and new around $1300-$1400. Anyone else done this (and willing to admit it?)?

If the frame of that panel is cracked, I'd say you're looking at a new roof panel.
