whats the best way to determine what stall converter you need? there are so many choices. 1500, 3500 etc etc. I don't know much about them, always had stick shift cars. could anyone give me a breakdown on converters? I have a motor thats going to go into an early C4 about 400-500 horse. Probably use it as a strip car. The cam is very rough and does not idle to well.
thanx

how did he carry the donuts;shrug

best bet is to call the manufacturor of the converter tell them what you have and let them advise you. basically you want a looser (higher stall speed) with a race type radical engine you don't want it coming in below the powerband.

Oh ok, i got ya. Makes sense now that you mention that.

hahaha "how did he carry the donuts" ever go to a carnival and play that game, the one were you through the little plastic rings around the knives? Prolly like that :L
