I am about to re-assemble the upper plenum after changing the EGR valve and need to know if there is a Torque Spec for the Screws/bolts that attach the plenum to the runners. These are the upper screws/bolts not the ones on the manifold. Also, should I use never seize on the threads as the bolts are steel and the plenum is aluminum? Thanks in advance to all answers. :upthumbs

Yes, you should use anti-seize on the bolts. I did and don't have any leaks or anything like that. Use a criss cross pattern.

I forgot the torque specs, I've read them on there before. Sorry that I can't help with that.:W

Thanks Edmond. Maybe someone can come up with the torque numbers.

Tighten it till it strips, then back off 1/4 turn... ;LOL

Torque specs are: Intake bolts 35 lbft
Intake runners 20lbft
Fuel rails 7 lbft

Use anti-seize sparingly (just a touch).. cuts down on the mess. Use teflon sealant on any intake bolts going into water passages.

Have fun!
