I have a 94 LT1. Never had any starting problems until today. Trying to start it, it just clicked once and seemed to go totally dead. No luck with a booster or a jump. Checked all ignition fuses which were fine. Any suggestions?

Have the battery checked. It sounds like you have a dead short in the
battery in which case you can not jump through the battery. Also make sure the ground is good and that the cables are clean and tight on the battery.

After you get it started have the alternator checked to make sure it is charging.

I have a 95 and have replaced battery and checked everything. What I am doing now is having the starter dropped so the copper solenoid contacts can be replaced as well as the plunger. They get worn with use and does not make proper contact therefore less current - hard start. I can try 5-6 times and nada... then go in and turn the key and she purrrrrrrs. Check out ebay for solenoid kit or iowa motor parts dot com. They have the parts for under $30 shipped.

This is what it entails...... http://www.startercontacts.com/install.htm
