transmission coolers

My 65 is a power glide (250 h.p.) .It doesnt have a tranny cooler but I beleave in 65 they started putting them on. I dont know if it makes any differance but its a factory air car. Thanks for any help. Roland.
 
All midyear Powerglide cars after January, 1963 had transmission coolers; possibly yours failed at some point and it was removed and the lines were connected directly to the cooler built into the radiator instead of replacing the failed cooler.

John, Thanks for the reply. Mine is not connected to anything just pluged at the transmission. I think Iam going to pick up a cooler and install it to be on the safe side. Thanks, Roland.
