Please help me!
I'm disassembling my 1975 vette.
I have seen the linkage from transmission to column steering linkage.
Which is the function of these linkage?

I hope that you understand my question.

Tank you!

That's the "interlock" linkage, which connects the shift lever on the transmission to the lever at the bottom of the steering column; it's there so the ignition key can only be removed and the column locked with manual transmissions in reverse, or in Park on an automatic. The lever at the bottom of the column connects to an internal tube, the upper end of which controls the rotation of the ignition switch on the column.
