turbo kit for the L-98

sorry to be so lame here , but is there a turbo kit available for a 89 vette? im asking because its time to either change out power plants or rebuild my l-98 and im tiered of the 245 stock hp. thanks, doug castner......aka ..captbane@yahoo.com

Sure, RPO B2K. It's called a Calloway TT.


I'm sure they are out there but, it would be easier and probably cheaper to install a centrifugal supercharger or even easier and cheaper still Nitrous.

basically, a turbo that is belt driven instead of exhaust driven.

Do a search for ati pro-charger on google and it should take you to their web site. I think they make some of the best superchargers around, especially when it comes to the corvette. I think their web site has information on how superchargers work etc. etc.

Check out Pro-Charger. They used to make a supercharger kit for the L98 engines that was really slick. They may still have that package available. I think it was good for 100+ HP and lots of torque. I alos think that Corvette Fever ran an article on this conversion in about 2002 sometime.

np procharger from their site says they still make them. last time i priced it with intercooler and full kit was 4k
