I need to replace the u joints on my drive shaft one for sure.

While it is all apart should I go ahead to both the front and back car has 106000 miles on it.

Which are better the type you need to grease or the type you don’t grease?

Ok pros have at it :) Cheers

its a matter of opinion but for the cost of a second joint might as well do it already there and how far behind can it be ;) steve ps the non grease joints are stronger

The only ones I see at Ecklers and Mid America are the grease type I would prefere the non grease type. Where I can find them? Thanks Cheers

Go to your local auto parts store and have them get a set of Dana/Eaton HD replacement joints.

These are the ones you want.
Spicer Bros. U-joint PN’s 5-800x for the half shafts and 5-786x for the driveline --à New PN SPL-30x half shafts and http://www.dana.com/technology/services/

Dana owns NAPA or the other way around, NAPA should be able to help you. Change all six, it's time.

NAPA IS THE ONE ask for the old style with the grease fitting in the end of the the
u-joint the center grease joints aren't as strong.
The new u-joints they have are made overseas and not as storng.
I just replaced mine .

Went to NAPA today at first they said they didnt carry Spicer u joints to whit I responded since one of you owns the other I think you neet to look again. Sure enough they found them. They have come out with a new style with dual zerks for easy greasing. They are in the middle they couldnt find the old style. I got a set they were twice as much as the standard ones they sell but I think well worth it at $20 a piece.

Thanks for all the help! Cheers

Sorry you ended up with the zirked one's, IMHO that's not what you want.
