Understanding VIN, Early or Late '69?

Thanks.

Boy this has been a good thread. I have to get a black book.:)

Go here: http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/index.html
The link brings up a perpetual calendar. Type in the year you want, and the calendar for that year will display.

Toggle around until you find the month you want, then pick your day.

Usually the plant at St. Louis did not run on weekends or major holidays, but there are exceptions. As an example, my 68 has a Saturday build date.

You can check build dates by taking total production for a given month, dividing that by the number of working days that month, minus holidays if any (# of working days from the perpetual calendar), and get an average production per day figure. Remember, it's only an average, but it gets you close.

:)

Rob used to have the Corvette Black Book stocked in the "Pro Shop". I didn't see it there right now. One of our supporting vendors may have it, in which I'd suggest trying to get it from them. It's helps the vendor, which in turn helps support and maintain the CAC.
