Unleaded Fuel Only Decal....Placement?

Can anyone tell me where the factory put the " Unleaded Fuel Only " Decal on the 78 pace car or the 79 with the optional rear spoiler. I know that without the spoiler they were just under the gas lid and not on it. With the spoiler on, it covers up that spot....thanks in advance

I show my Vette a lot and I think it would be a nice touch for it when it comes to judging it. Do you know where it goes since you have a pace car?

Daryl, JohnZ or Mike6880 (?) are both NCRS judges if I recall correctly. They could tell you for sure if you are going for exact factory placement./

Unleaded Fuel Label

Daryllawman, The 1979 AIM states that the label is centered on the Fuel Door. If your '79 does not have the rear spoiler, the label is.75 inches forward of the the Rear Fascia. If you have the Rear Spoiler, it is .25 inches rearward of the finger indentation in the spoiler. Unfortunetely, I recently got a new computer with the Windows Vista system and our scanner is not working yet, sorry. BTW, the GM part number for the laber was - 355449. Hope that helps.
