After contemplating how to handle the above situation, I had a
brainstorm. I would drain the oil (only 3 weeks old), check out the
plug and pan. Those threads near the bolt head that allow for tightening were worn as a result of the trainees used at the Chevy dealer that changed the oil 3 changes ago, over-tightening the bolt, causing the "wiggle" and not being able to tighten. So I decided to double up on the metal washers. Hence, no wiggle and no drip as of yet. So I'm going to give myself a thumbs up.
Incidentally, changing the oil has got to be the messiest job ever. WOW! :W
