Help!
has anyone removed and installed an upper dash pad in a 77. I almost have the car debubbarized and this is the last step. Thanks in advance
 
Well, I just did mine (1972) I think the part was from 70-76 though.

Yours maybe different.

I did my 77 - you have to remove the 8 screws that go from the right and left lower dash pads and the center console into the upper dash pad. You also have to remove the right lower dash pad to gain access to a screw that goes from a right angle bracket to the upper dash pad. Is also easier to remove the defroster duct once the right lower dash pad is removed. I also removed the right and left pillar trim pieces. The you have to start one side of the dash pad up the pillar slightly, and then bow the dash pad in the middle until the one end you have raised will clear the pillar.
