Does anyone know if a person can sit on the Targa top section with roof panel removed and if so is there a weight restriction?

First off Randall, welcome to CAC! 
You'll find a lot of friendly and helpful people here. Now for your question....Now take this for what it is worth as I am not an expert, but I believe that the 'halo' is more than strong enough to hold a candidate. If I am not mistaken, the halo is part of the structure of the vehicle and acts almost like a roll bar. I used my 2001 coupe for just that exact purpose (I'm a ,now, retired high school teacher). As a matter of fact, the student council president called me yesterday asking to use my 2007 coupe for next week. If you agree, I would just suggest that you put some towels in the seat for her to step on (No shoes) and a soft microfiber towel for her to sit on. Should be good to go.
