Does anyone have any shots of LT1 valve covers that have been trimmed to accomodate 1.6RR's

Thanks

Fred

no, but it is the stalagtite looking part(s) that must be trimmed :eek

Now, how did the LT4 cars achive clearance from the factory???

Just cut the drip rails inside the valve cover, with a drummel tool.
You can also buy the LT4 valve covers, they are the same as the LT1 just don't have drip rails.

I will have to trim, just got the rockers set, they are 1.6 comp cams and there is no way the valve covers will go on. Boy that passenger side back header bolt is sure a *****.

Thanks

Fred

I didn't remove anything but my valve covers and spark plugs .
Long air hose ,5/8 plug socket with 3/4 open end wrench.
I used a Snap-on 5/8 swivle socket and a 45 degree long handeled 3/8 ratchet.
