Everybody,

Suppose a vallet parked your car a bit too close to a wall in the garage at the building in which you work. I haven't looked at it yet, but I went down to get something out of my car and it was too close to the wall, I was rubbing the front with my fingertip and it felt rough... I don't like this. It's just the very tip right under the center of the license plate that feels weird.

This got me thinking about how much it would cost to replace the fiberglass body peices. Would a body shop be able to replace a section of the fiberglass and make it smooth or would they have to get a whole new front bumper?

Considering the magnitude of this (between none and miniscule), I won't be doing much beyond touching up the tip (maybe with red...) :-)

Thanks for any info.

Mike

You wouldn't believe how easy it is to fix fiberglass. If the guy is worth anything at all, he should be able to fix you right up...Then you also have to worry about color matching.

A friend of mine made this image in paint regarding the shoddy vallet service in the building....

fiberglass body parts on a 1995?????????????? I thought all C4s were made of Poly carbonate body parts with rubber bumpers. I remember the first C4 I ever saw other than the tube frame that was my fav thing about them.
