Other than Roger does anyone know of a 96 Grand Sport convertible with red interior for sale. Am serious buyer not window shopper. Please email.
Thanks for any help.

Good Luck with your search, I know of one other person that was looking for a Red Gut GS Vert, he could not find one he liked. It also does not help that there were only 53 Convertibles with Red/Black Interior

Here is a breakdown from www.grandsportregistry.com

1000 Total Grand Sports

810 Grand Sport Coupes Overall

593 Coupes with black interior Total

197 Coupes with black interior and FE1 base suspension
206 Coupes with Black Interior and F45 Suspension
190 Coupes with Black Interior and Z51 Suspension

217 Coupes with Red/Black Interior Total
40 Coupes with Red/Black Interior and FE1 Base Suspension
91 Coupes with Red/Black Interior and F45 Suspension
86 Coupes with Red/Black Interior and Z51 Suspension

190 Grand Sport Convertibles Overall

137 Convertibles with Black Interior Total

76 Convertibles with Black Interior and F45 Suspension
61 Convertibles with Black Interior and FE1 Base Suspension

53 Convertibles with Red/Black Interior Total

42 Convertibles with Red/Black Interior and F45 Suspension
11 Convertibles with Red/Black Interior and FE1 Base Suspension

As a Grand Sport convertible owner (but with black interior), I know how rare the ones with red guts are. I also wanted one, but because only 53 convertibles with red interiors were made, it was unlikely I'd find one, especially in my part of the country. The black interior GS convertible came along with super low miles (3,200 miles at 6 years old!!) in mint condition so that was the one I bought. If I were you, I'd post a "want to buy" message on the Grand Sport Registry (www.grandsportregistry.com).

If you're very serious about buying one, I'd make a trip to see the one at Rogers and be prepared to buy it!

Good luck!!

Elaine

Thanks for the above info. I may end up at Rogers if it is still available. I was just trying to avoid that punishment if possible. I have found a couple of black int. cars in the 30's. I may do the same as you did and buy whats out there. I have not talked to Roger because the price is really up there but who knows. Thanks again.
