Request help locating Rare Car from my Corvette aficionados/friends.
Corvette is rare because (Equipped with big block (RPOL36 427CI 390BHP) and off road service exhaust (RPON11-mufflers had three baffles inside each inlieu of five and were stenciled in yellow lettering on bottom of each muffler-
with the supplier "Arvin" Manufactures code- (OFF ROAD ASSY - Manufacturers code 721060A)
Original owner looking for 1967 Corvette Rally Red Convertible VIN 194677S100560.
Corvette built during the week of September 04 1966 and was number 560 built from St Louis Assembly for 1967 model year.
Corvette was delivered to Curhan Chevrolet Randolph Massachusetts. Although the Corvette was built and delivered early couldn't drive Corvette home until announcement day September 29, 1966. I was only 20 years old (What a thrill)
Although Corvette could be another color, the trim tag should still be attached to the IP support tie bar just below the glove box. Unless removed, the broadcast (tank sticker) should still be on top of left side lower gasoline tank. Tank sticker can be accessable from gasoline filler opening after removing black rubber filler.
I do not care what condition the Corvette is in even though the frame could need to be replaced and bird cage would need repair due to many years of corrosion from water leaks/poor drainage. I'm fully aware of supplier AO Smith boxed frame/bird cage rust problems.
This is how I built/ordered the Corvette in July 1966:
1967 Corvette Sting Ray Convertible (Model 19467) Rally Red/Std Black Vinyl Interior (VIN 194677S100560) FIVE HUNDRED AND SIXTIETH BUILT FOR 1967 MODEL YEAR.
The tank sticker (Broascast) was not removed from left side lower top of gas tank from under strap and extra copy of broadcast left under dash where it was put by St Louis UAW Assembler.
Ordered July 1966 and born early September (Believe Sept 06) with the following options:
02974AA Rally Red
02900AA Black Hood Stripe (Stinger)
BStd Standard Black Vinyl Interior
02J50AA Power Brakes
02M21AB Muncie Close Ratio 4-Speed transmission 2:20 first gear ratio
02L36AA 427CI 390 HP
02N11AA Off Road Service Exhaust - Not to be confused by RPON14 dual side exhaust
02A02AA Tinted Windshield
02C07AA Auxiliary Hardtop
BStd Standard Black Soft Top
02U69AH P.B. AM/FM Radio
02K66DA Transistor Ignition Equipment
02P92AA 775X15-2Ply Whitewall Tires
02G81JA Positraction Axle 3:36.1
Have original dealer bill of sale/Protect O Plate. Tank sticker (Broadcast was not removed by original owner)
Also VIN 194677S100560 can be viewed on C2 lost Corvette registry

PS: Original engine had piston slap and replaced with short block under GM Warranty.
Original bottom side of mufflers were stenciled in yellow by supplier Arvin "OFF ROAD SERVICE EXH

Not concerned vehicle needs new frame and birdcage corrosion repair and is now Sunfire Yellow with L79, L68, L71, L89, or L88&N14 dual side exhaust.
Nabors Bros from Texas can return vehicle to it's original condition.
If current owner will not sell will surrender original papers, protect O plate, extra set of original keys, owners manual for good picture of Corvette.
Don't care if Corvette is now Goodwood Green with M35 Powerglide two speed automatic transmission. Also want picture of trim tag on front body hinge pillar tie bar support that is directly under glove box. Also not concerned with fake papers on car. Corvette not AO Smith built body from Ionia Michigan
19467-Base Convertible
A02-Soft Ray Tinted Glass, Windshield
C05-Standard Convertible Top (Black)
C07-Auxiliary Hardtop (Rally Red)
G81AU-Positraction Rear Axle (3:36.1) Note: Ordering G81 code AU 3:36.1 was mistake. Should have ordered G81FA 3:70.1.
Note: Posi optional at extra cost, but required with RPOL36 Engine.

Also Corvette had dealer installed options:
Dual black painted pin stripe around full perphery of body just above body break line (Lower stripe was somewhat wider than top stripe)
Rear seat speaker built into the jack storage carpeted cover on right side behind passenger
Alarm key lock cylinder mounted on left side front fender centered over engine heat extractor
(5 finned Gill)
Front spring spacers installed to fit over sized Pirelli tires on Corvette
Locking chrome plated GM part number gasoline cap, dealer installed

PS: Engine had short block replacement under GM warranty. Original engine had piston slap.
Hood black stripe repainted by dealer. Could see red paint through black on delivery.
Right front fender painted just below windshield lower reveal moulding frame due to paint checking. Was probably caused by body twisting from 427 engine.
Rear deck repaired just below gas filler neck to rear end panel. Corvette tapped in parking lot.
This Corvette was not AO Smith Built Body from Ionia Michigan. AO Smith was not contracted to build 1967 427 Corvette bodies. Although AO Smith did build a few early 1967 427 bodies they never mastered the painting of the hood stripe.
If I can find/buy back Corvette, car will go to Naber Brothers in Florida for full restoration.
If I can't buy back Corvette from current owner will surrender second set of original keys, Protect-O-Plate and all of the original paper work for a good digital picture of the Corvette VIN 100560
