Warranty Question

I was at a dealer and picked up a brochure for Wynns. The dealership said you could be an extended warranty. Has anyone bought a Vette off an individual and then bought an extended warranty? I would like to do this but did not know if this was possible. With all the things that can wrong with these cars, sure would be nice to have a warranty.
Anybody help me on this?

The Vette I am looking at is a 92 model...

Extended auto warranty

Yep, I got one from Extended Auto warranty. They can be difficult sometimes to get a hold of but they have definitely saved me money. And I got my money back that I spent on the warranty. I spent about $2500 on the warranty and since November they have paid 3200, so it was a worthwhile investment. I have no real complaints about the company other then the time it takes to get a response out of them, but I don't mind waiting a day or two if they save me a few hundred dollars.

I gave you the wrong amount for the warranty. Mine was $1599 and covers most major parts for 48K which takes me right up to 100K or 4 years.

Thank you, I checked out the website, but it does not go back to 91.

I have a 91 with 80k miles. Oh, well. It looks like 93 is as old as they will take. It was worth a shot.
