Ok, has anybody read about using electrolysis to convert water (H20) into what is called "Brown's Gas" (HHO). The process is scientifically sound, and this gas is much more powerful than gasoliine. There are several websites now that, for a fee, will show you how to build such a device and use it in conjunction with regular gasoline for what then claim to be a 40-60% increase in mileage. Google it and you will find several pages that supposedly have checked out the process and say it really does work. I have not, however, found one KNOWN reputable organization that addresses this. I did go to a Honda website, and they are, indeed, working on a water/gas hybrid, and, supposedly, have a contract with the Army to produce a Hummer with this technology. The advantage is that 1 qt of water will produce over 1800gallons of the gas. Now, dont think me stupid here....I am the eternal skeptic, but damn, we gotta do something about this rediculous fuel situaion!!!!!

It seems this would function kind of like a nitrous system, with a tank stored somewhere in the vehicle. I have read though that this gas is volatile and that it does pose a danger, although probably just as much of a danger as the propane tanks we use on our BBQs.

Probably just something else big oil doesnt want us to know about.
