How does one identify what carbs i have on my 61 2x4-Is it marked somewhere?
Once I know what i have where would I place the ID tag. Thanks

There should be a little brass triangle tag with a date and number stamped into it no the top. But many go missing over the years. There will also be numbers cast 1299, or o49 into the air the body, base and air horn. Have a good look. Post what you find. oWEN

I took a look and both carbs have 1299 marks on them! Would those numbers convert over to the MFG# OF frt 2626S AND rr 2627S?

The carburetor has three major components with numbers on them. The 61 with 2-4 barrels should have: Main Body 0-049 or (possible 0-1049) Air Horn 6-1299 and Throttle Body 1-1387B. If you look closely at your carburetors you should be able to find these numbers.
