Car is an '84.
Today I hit the left turn signal, and it showed a solid light, and didn't make the clicking noise. So I go to autozone, pull out the burned out bulb, put in a new one and check if it works. Well the light works, but it won't blink!
I do not think it is the flasher module as the right turn signal works perfectly.
However on the drivers side, when the turn signal is activated, the rear lights go solid and so do the front turn signal lights! Solid!
So does this mean I need to reset the ECU or something? What is going on?
Thanks in advance,
-Craig
edit: on a side note when i went out to my car there was red wax all over the bumper which is now scraped along with a crack and a hole in my turn signal lens. Stupid parking lot! If I find the perpetrator ...
But could the impact have somehow ruined something that would affect the blinking?
