good job Rob!

Welcome back CAC and everyone!

wow, it's good to be "home" again :)

To say we missed CAC is such an understatement. Great job and thanks to Rob and the gang for all your hard work getting CAC back up and running! Boy I sure missed all of you! :upthumbs

Wow! What a relief. Glad to have CAC back in my life again. Thanks for the good work.

THANK YOU!
Talk about withdrawals!
Great job getting the site back up guy!

"Hallelujah"
Congrats to all the CAC team for getting us back up and running again.

Time to trade in that Commodore 64.

Hey look, my unknown twitching has suddenly stopped. Great Job Rob and Team. Glad to have the CAC back up and running. You guys do a great job.

Thanks for the return to " normancy "

Great job " Rob " and everyone else involved, in getting us all, back together on-line.

This short interruption is like many other things in this wonderful life of ours ( it's my birthday to-day ) that we never really appreciate, it until it is taken away from us.

Then, and only then, do we realize what we have, and how fortunate we are to be able to participate in this great adventure we call life.

Welcome back everyone :w

Happy B-Day Bob!!!!

I'm guessing you are................ 32 today! :D

Hey Barry,

Let's see now, from 1944 to the big O 6, my guess is that it's looking more like 62 then 32.

O well, chalk it up to 30 additional years of Corvette fun and experience. :D

P.S. Heard from the cuz'in yet :W

Whoo Hoo!

It's like coming home again. A real big thank you to Rob and the team for all their efforts in bringing this wonderful forum back so we can all continue this valuable exchange of information.

I was going into withdrawl..........:D

Take care,
Brian

ps: Happy B-Day Bob. You're just a kid, like the rest of us!

Bob
no I haven't heard from him.
I emailed him but recieved nothing back.
I figured it was going to be an "iffy" situation. I haven't spoken to him in a few years and his side of the family and my side don't talk to each other - long history....... He and I have never had issues with each other but I'm sure emailing him about the car after number of years with no contact and than not hearing back is no great surprise.
i'm not giving up but from the looks of it it's going to be a long drawn out process to see if I can get anywhere.

in the meantime, I just found out my sister-in-law is selling her '68 'vert of the same unmentionable on this forum make/model. pretty much fully restored and my wife LOVES the car and it's perfect for her with auto trans and A/C. :)

Barry, long and drawn out are things I have learned to live with. As long as you are aware of my continued interest, for now it's good enough for me.

Your correct, the 68 would be an excellent choice for a second vehicle, especially with the a/t & a/c.:)

no problem Bob. If/when I ever hear back from him i'll let you know. Just don't hold your breath until I do or you may not make it until your next b-day! ;LOL ;LOL

yeah, that other car is one of my wifes all-time favorites so I'm just waiting to hear how much my SIL decides she wants for it.

Barry,

Let me know what happens with the '68. Been kind of looking for a cr=hrome Bumper Shark for awhile. And A/C and Auto are a must. IF LInda doesn't score the car let me know; I may or may not be interested (depends on price, of course.). I'll be heading out of town (Montreal, I can hardly wait; I hear they have REAL winters up there) around noon today until Thurs night.

Later,

Bernie O.

No worry about snow

Bernie,

Don't worry about any snow, you had better make sure your wipers are set up for rain. It's been raining here on and off for the past four days. As it stands now, even all the rain gutters can't handle the surplus water . Have a safe trip
